Heidi - you and Stewart are so brave. I don't know either of you but I am thinking or you both.

It is a very moving story and brought a tear to my eye also as well as reliving some of my own personal memories of someone close to me.

Sad to report that according to Dorking FC's website, Stewart passed away this evening.

 

Appears Tuesday's benefit game vs Crystal Palace at Meadowbank will still go ahead in his honour.

My thoughts are with his wife and his family.

 

I'm sure everyone at Ash Utd will pay their respects with a minute silence before the match on Tuesday.

I would hope this would be observed by all the other CCL clubs playing this week.

I learnt the news tonight from DFC player Jon Tyler at our local club.

 

Stewart lost his battle valiant battle around 7:00pm this evening.
