Despite the apparant trick photography, this did actually happen. The player is Darren Assiamah and this is the 81st minute booking which happened over at the River side of the ground. If Rob had his video running, it will be interesting, because what happened next was that when the player ran back to his position (he was playing at right back but had switched to left back), he was still holding the card and stopped to give it back to the referee.

 

This should in fact have merited a second yellow card, for insubordination. However it later transpired that they were comparing the yellow of the card to the colour of the away shirts.
