We have both to watch out for Harefield coming up on the rails but now we have all the Cup games out of the way we can concentrate on the league. It's harder for you because you need to win your games against Harefield to stay above them. all that said the Spartan is a fine league and we certainly have enjoyed our time in it even though it could prove to be a short one.

Why are you going to Hertford on Thursday 29th March, Oracle? Are you going to see Hertford play Harefield? I would wear my Edgware shirt and scarf and walk round with a big wide grin LOL smile

 

Then again, I would not bother going to see them play eachother, after all I am only interested in watching the CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Thanks HTFCONE, as I have said several times, I think both Hertford and ourselves should be going up, and you can include Harefield as well. 1 team up is a joke, it should be at least 3 every season!

Harefield needed to beat us to get within 3pts of us if they won their games in hand. Now they have to hope we lose at least 3 matches and they have to win EVERY match, it aint going to happen smile bar a major disaster on our part.

The SSML has been fun and all the clubs have been welcoming but it will be nice to be a step 4 club and be visting some good grounds with bigger crowds next season.

Good question, I will still be looking in from time to time, but I guess I will not post very frequently, though I may go and see Kingsbury London Tigers on the odd occasion if Edgware dont have a match the clashes.

 

There does not seem to be a forum for the Ryman div 1 north, though there are several clubs in that division that have their own forums, the general Ryman forum is not that well used as this forum is.

 

The Edgware forum I set up is now getting a lot more posts and more members so hopefully that will carry on get busier.

Gavin, the Ryman forums are naff!! You can have banter with some Urchins (but they will be in the Premier next season) and a couple of Canvey fans but thats about it. A sense of humour seems to be lacking in our division. Some of the club secretaries are a laugh though (hi PBT and the man from Aveley).

 

As for watching other teams I will be watching Hornchurch next week in their final and as usual i'll be sporting my Canvey colours. I wear the shirt with pride regardless of what match i'm watching.

I still think Potters Bar Town should confine himself to the Ryman board even if he's the only one who posts on there, I don't see any reason at all why he should constantly come on here ruffling feathers and criticising other Clubs. Shall we hold a vote on it, he's welcome to take part in the prediction league but shouldn't be allowed to post.
