Yep, they will want to forget about last night in a hurry.
Went for the throat first half with pace and they couldnt handle it, we sat back and held them off second half. Their keeper didnt have any gloves, really felt for that guy!! Freezing!!

Overall i think 6-2 would have been a fair scoreline.

They will be safe though, im sure

Great story about the keepers with no gloves! On arrival at our ground he asked a player to put his bag in the back of a his car, which said player did, only to get into someone elses car. Bag and car left at Bury, keeper left with no gloves, boots, shinpads the lot!!! Says it all really!

You surely can't really believe that, a 2-1 win over 'whipping boys' Winslow United is a disgusting result and possibly indicates that the Ostlers Lane Club are starting to falter after an exhausting campaign, I can see them doing a Hillingdon Borough from last season and losing everything.

I spoke to a bury player earlier and he told me the story.. how funny! Only two subs as well didn't help by the sound of it but you can't help players pulling out so late in the day.

Robbie.. I think it's Horace you need to speak to about the scorers on Mitoo.

Proper throwback gks with no gloves!! My best mates dad used to play in goal for Uxbridge from the 70's till ealry 90's and even then would still wear the horrible cotton gk jerseys and no gloves. [****!!****] great GK though!!!

hertford boys , has a date been arranged for the east anglian semi against us ?

Also out of interest why has Kevin cooper never been snapped up by a higher league side - 163 goals in 206 games is some record !

The legendary Roger Nicholls, of course. When Enfield played there in the mid 1980s, a mate of mine told him that he'd seen his dad play for Uxbridge in the sixties!

Funny thing was, in Roger Nicholls and his successor Sean Dawson, Uxbridge got through about 35 years with only two regular keepers!
