Brilliant. Stood about for an hour in the cold waiting for the lights to work and then get thumped again. The scoreline is a little harsh on Slough as we actually created a few chances in this game and probably had the best of the first half against an ordinary looking Wood side. I think the reason we are on the end of such heavy reversals has lot to do with confidence or lack of it and having to field makeshift sides game after game. Sure the quality isn't there compared to the likes of Billericay but Wood were not all that and I think our players should try and look at the positives.

In fairness, when we could see the pitch it wasn't looking too bad. It is much much flatter than it was - the benefit of a roller and the worst areas have been well sanded. A vast improvement.
