Ive Been Away For Last Week, Missed All Three Games - RPV, Chertsey and Wantage in the Cup.

 

Would have done one if i had been around no matter what the score line was.

I know there a few Ash players and staff that read this site so i need to tread careful. I was on the bench on Saturday for the first time pretty much since the start of the season. Didnt get on but am glad for the rest cos i've been running my [****!!****] into the ground as normal as i am reminded constantly that i have no football ability at all.
Played against Farnbro then Chipstead then Guildford all in the space of 6 days so a welcome rest i feel.
The lads were superb on Saturday except for a few lapses of concentration. First half we took an early lead but Mersham bounced back with 2 goals and then another 5 minutes before half time. Killer goal!!
2nd half came out firing and got it back to 3-3 with 15 to go and could easily have scored at least 2 more. Merstham looked very tired after their extra time cup matches the week before.
Another error and they stole all 3 points in the last minute. We were all gutted and Merstham were very relieved.
Big derby against Cove Tuesday.Hopefully fully rested and back in the starting 11.
I've stopped sulking now so am very happy to be posting and chatting to all you guys. Been pretty dead on here lately so we need someone to spice it up a bit.
