right so before the weekend i would have expected brentwood to beat concord marginally, romford to run home comfortably against burnham and barkingside to smash basildon.

 

before saturday i would have said brentwood have won the league already, romford have cemented second place and concord and barking are out the running.

 

now on monday morning none of the top threes resukts went to play and brentwod only scraped a draw at concord. concord are stringing results together now and could make a final push and barking have a massive week where maximum points fire them up table.

 

do we write burnham off? well thy just did romford...

 

all very interesting and its going to be 6 great weeks of football.

i dont think anyone has enough to overthrow brentwood. we all have bad patches but they wont. a bad patch to them is a draw!

I make you right smallsy, Br ntwood have lost just the one to you know who, RFC have lost 3 - Nov, Jan and March, Barkingside lost 2 on the spin in september and the odd loss now and then. That's what seperates the top, not so much as a bad spell as one off loses or the occaisional draw. The title is br ntwoods to lose.

You never know brentwood might do what Waltham abbey done a couple of seasons ago and have a bad 3 or 4 games which will open the league right up

we lost 4 in 5 games. had we turned some of those into draws (concord, barking and romford) we would be in a much better position.

 

you cant win a league with more then 2/3 defeats. hence why brentwood will win it.

 

enfield town lost 2 games 2 years ago(the second at home to concord last game when they had already won the league), hornchurch lost 2 last season.
