Vote SCS (and others too)!

Well done to Scott Chalmers-Stevens who is one of the nominees suggested by an NLP panel in the Goalkeeper of the Year catagory for the Non-League Paper Awards.

The nominees put forward by the panel are in today's NLP but it appears that any player can be voted for. I couldn't see any other Gate players in the list of suggested nominees though.

Makes you wonder how Trotty can sleep at night, having dropped him yesterday. Charlie made some good saves but he was at fault for the goal. Seems to me that Charlie can make 5 or mistakes before being dropped, whereas SCS only has to make 1 error to lose his place. Thats just poor management.

Totally agree TBM.

At least others in the game recognise SCS as a fine keeper.

AS MFC Forever says, we should vote for him.

No need to buy a NLP-can vote for him on-line at:

www.nonleagueawards.co.uk/

(other suggestions from the NLP in the goalkeeping catgory are :

Brightly of Hornchurch

Evans of Bath

Hartley of Buxton

SCOTT CHALMERS-STEVENS OF MARGATE

Ryan Clarke of Salisbury

Poole of Burton

Bevan of Kidderminster

Vote for Scott

MM, I remember last year having to send an email to vote for Danny Hockton for an award. Maybe there is an email address in the paper somewhere to send votes to? I haven't bought the NLP for weeks.

On the subject of SCS though he has to start. If Scott was blamed for the error for Boreham Wood's 2nd then Charlie may as well be blamed for not getting down quickly enough for the Staines goal. Therefore on RT's method for dropping players on the back of one error I expect to see (and hope) that SCS will be on the team sheet on Tuesday.
