Just like to remind you rhodes that this is the post I want you to apologise over. The treatment of the players by the RMFC management staff is totally irrelevant in this case. Do you understand that rhodes or do you want it in words of one syll-a-ble?

Lato - Well I still stand by those words and I think Rak will possibly back me up seeing how his father was involved and also got the rough end of the stick. You were never enthusiastic, firstly when the word was out that the trio may well be on their way from north London to Grosvenor Vale and when the impossible did happen and they actually arrived, bright eyed and bushy tailed, you were even less enthusiastic and never gave them a cat in hell's chance to settle in and prove themselves. This was my main concern particularly in Spidermanor's case who seemed to look down his nose and dismiss them as Sunday morning players.

Well lets see what Rak says when he comes on later and if he is able to verify my comments, it would also be useful to hear how Julian felt about the whole fiasco and his own short spell at Grosvenor Vale when he appeared to be working miracles with successive and impressive wins at Kingsbury, Brimsdown in the Challenge Trophy and Tiptree in the Vase.

rhodes remember it is the thoughts and actions of myself, MB100 and Spidermanor that you questioned. Julian will himself confirm that we spoke to him at Hertford (a game that took place after his dismissal) and wished him well for the future. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of the management in choosing staff or opinions players as unlike you at Kentish Town we do not pick the team or have any say in team matters (and I was careful to get you to confirm that yourself.)

Well I do have a say in team selection particularly when it comes to informing the Manager and 'the great one' who might have suspensions coming up or simply to just voice an opinion. I'm sure as a respected former Committee member you are often asked for your opinion and are welcomed with open arms into the boardroom, Coles Park style, for a Club pow wow, I'm sure you are a lot closer to your Management than you like to make out.

I speak to the manager yes but I (and Spider amd MB100) never make suggestions of who should be playing, that's his job as manager.

You should be able to verify your own comments by finding the specific posts where Lato, Spider & MB100 criticised the players. You won't be able to though as they don't exist.

HTFCew - If it will shut Lato up then I happily apologise as I'm sure everyone is getting fed up with his posts by now asking for an apology and it is spoiling the enjoyment of the Forum for them. I haven't been through all the posts with a fine tooth comb as yet though and I'm sure I recall one or two where at least one of the three players was criticised or at least spoken about in a negative fashion which is criticism in my book.

Why? Just because he stood up to your attempted ignorance and finally forced an, albeit half-hearted, apology out of you, don't try to make him out to be the bad guy in all of this. Maybe if you were quicker to take responsibility for what you say, or thought about what you were saying and whether you even needed to say it in the first place, you wouldn't dig yourself into so many holes.
