Totally agree Simon i cant remember Worster having to make one save all game !, also i thought Slough was the poorest side i have seen in a long time over the Lodge but they still had good vocal support even though they are sitting bottom of the league.

Yh a convincing victory even though we didnt reach top gear. There keeper may have made 4 or 5 good saves, but that doesn't make up for the overall display, he fumbled the ball a few times and was at fault for the first two of Whelps' goals. To be honest i didn't think slough were fit to be playing, half of them couldn't kick a ball, especially the number 3 hanged.

Burbs played better today winning more headers and Wareham looked like a good buy, he may have looked a bit shakey today but once he gets over the nerves im sure him and Whelps will be terrorise defences.

Another 3 points, remarkably all results went our way again but im not complaining. I would have love to have seen the look on the Ch**mo faces when the final whistle went at Folkestone whistle

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

yeah sorry about the shower that turned up to supposedly represent us, but we're on our third manager of the season, our fifth or sixth different keeper and our number three (I believe) was the 49th different player to start for us this season (I also know that out of our entire squad only four remain that started the season with us). No excuses, but you would have been better off having the three points and a training session instead

Good performance, did more than enough to see off a terrible slough side. Certainly got some revenge for the reverse at their place. Other results went our way too, so a good day all round.

Wareham had a decent start, laid off the pass for the 4th goal. Not too much to jusge on as we didnt create a huge amount in the second half, but more than enough. Holland also hit the bar with a lovely shot, directly after Hodgy had hit the post, although i believe he was offside.

Another great result at home, got 2 away trips to come now, but both very winnable. Keep it up lads, were behind you all the way.

Last word for the Slough faithful. To turn up in such numbers for a long away trip, and keep singing when 5-0 down, well, as said above deserves so much more than the dire performance of the team. Well done chaps, your a credit to your club.

Thanks for all your comments on our support. It's got to the stage now that we go for the fun and banter.

As "Barry Scott" said above, we have had a massive turnaround this season, with lots of off the pitch issues. The kids playing for us now are mainly from lowers leagues and other teams reserves. Playing for us is probably their first taste of football at this level.

During the game, we did offer to get your keeper a deck chair to sit on.

Good luck with you promotion bid.

I thought it was a very good professional performance from us yesterday. In these type of games an early goal (or two) is just what is required to settle the nerves and we were in cruise control after that.

I can't really recall Ronnie making a save and Swaine won all the aerial ball when it came his way. In midfield I thought all six did well, particularly Leon. I thought Hill impressed again and he must be pushing for a start maybe on Tuesday. Up top Rikki was much better today and he won most of his headers. Flackie looked razor sharp when he came on.

I think it's fair to say the league table doesnt lie when it comes to Slough and it's hard to see them getting too many more points but again credit to their fans. They had a laugh and thats what its all about really.

There is no doubt that Tuesday will be a lot lot tougher than this but we are in good heart and have that wasted trip for the lads to avenge for us!!!!

Come on you blues....

I can't disagree with any of the above. The on the field activities helped make yesterday a fantastic day for the Club. The off the field activities went a long way to round it all off. I was told that we collected over a grand for the Ground Grading Fund, Tony Barham contributed to that by having is barnet chopped, everyone had fun, including the Slough supporters and I would say, what a great bunch of supporters they are too. And it was nice to see the Slough supporters and players coming together without any recrimination after the game and sharing a drink or two...a lesson I think some other clubs (well...no...one other club actually) should learn from. You win and lose as a club, players, club officials and supporters...

I agree with all that has been said previously, the players had a job to do and did very professionally. The Slough supporters were amazing, and from my conversations with them, this side is nothing to the side we played earlier in the season.

Good results all round for us with Bromley and Wimbledon drawing and Chelmsford and Margate losing. The only fly in the ointment was Harrow winning.

Good luck on Tuesday.

Sorry Gazza - just thought you were referring to the Clarets fans. As if, hey?

Well, if the cap fits...and I think it does in so many repsects, then I suggest that some of your support should have the goodness to wear it... grin

Job well done I thought. Their keeper had a bizarre game, cost 'em 3 goals, yet pulled off 4/5 quality saves! Whelpdale's hat-trick must have been the first for a few years at New Lodge.

I think the roof of the clubhouse may need looking at when 'that' score from Folksetone came in!
