Disgusting performance today.....

.....from the so called "Yellow Army" a couple of poor performances and our so called support start slagging off the players.

Yes they had a very poor game and they looked awful at times, but so called fans telling people like Dobbo, Crowe, Gordon and Co "they are not fit to wear a shirt".

Nobody would have been more upset by todays mess than Batchy and the boys. they will put it right!!!!!!!

Your not fit to support our club, if you are "Yellow" get behind your club or perhaps you are too used to cheering on the "red and white stripes".

Couldn't agree more.

All this wear the shirt c**p. We are in the Ryman League Division 1 North not the Champions League. You've got to expect inconsistency and the odd bad performance. And from what I saw a few weeks back against Waltham Forest I think some of you aren't fit to support the team.

Who are the red & white stripes?

Yes I was one of those who made them comments. At least I'm man enough to admit I was in the wrong but I am passionate and I was bitterly dissapointed by our performance today. Let's just say I'm just as dissapointed with our performances as the players.

They are fit to wear the shirt.

Quite frankly I can't be bothered to get into an argument with anyone on here becvause I lost my rag over one poor performance.

I'd rather spend time with my family thank you very much.

Yes I will admit it. I lost my rag and made comments about wanting my money back and players not being fit to wear the shirt. I even booed at half time. Actually I probably wasn't the only one who did this but after the comments about red and white stripes it seems this post is being targeted at me.

I'll make an apology but I'll tell you this I wouldn;'t have made them comments about the team and players if I didn't care.

Anybody who wants to talk to me about this will find me at Enfield Town on Tuesday night or in the bar on Thursday unless I've decided to go and watch Hx

Yeah, what was said was out of order on my part. I actually really like this set of lads we've got as people as well as players and I have so much belief in them. In my eyes they let me down today but they'll be back!!!

Yellow - It Was a very very poor performance today by the lads, your comments were not nice but we all have our moments. What fans forget is that we are having a great season, miles above we thought we would have..!

To many individual mistakes cost us today. Wakering played well but they are no world beaters..

Goalkeeper wise and defence today we were very very poor..!

Tuesday is now a massive game, keep focussed lads and you will bounce back from this poor performance.

That's true but what I will add is that many have been very critical over the years from the terraces. Luckily I will admit to making a few comments in the heat of the moment but there are some people who moan week in and week out and they seem to get away with it.
I'm not sure they'd be so honest if they came on here.

I was pretty angry with how we played at times today but sometimes it's best to keep your feelings to yourself until after the game in the bar. At least I didn't walk out at half time or escape to the bar like alot of people did.

I have to admit I think today we were awful, the worst I've seen us in a long while. I'm sure we won't play like that again though.

It is the panglossian viewpoint which just creases me up with Canvey Island.

Just who are these fane who though you were going to have a bad season

Yesterdays performance was embarassing.

Embarassing for the fans, embarassing for the management and embarassing for the players.

It will probably earn Gt Wakering Rovers a "best team performance" award for the month - and I can't begrudge them that.

We move on to a string of four difficult away games and must pick ourselves up for Tuesday night when hopefully the pain felt by everybody on Saturday will create a backlash performance from the team to answer their critics.

I back that comment up 100%. So Dave said a couple of things in the heat of the moment. Anybody who watched that performance would have been angry and frustrated.

But anyone who knows Dave will knows that he is CIFC through and through. Does the match reports for every match, gets the music going on a lot of home games, has been to nearly all games home and away since I can remember. I mean, he even came to watch the reserves at home to Harlow on Wednesday - and there weren't many of us.

Speak to any of the players and they will tell you what they thought of their performance, and their views on that particular game wouldn't have been disimilar to a lot of the comments I heard. But regardless of what was said, victimising loyal supporters is surely just as bad as slagging off the team.

Saying that, he still likes sheep....

Collectively it was a truly awful, awful display. Four goals conceeded in one half at the fault of at least three different individuals is something I don't think I've ever seen at Park Lane. Perhaps we were due a dire game given the run we were on and the fact that we hadn't really been tonked this season and every team is at least once.

First half, Leon looked the only player bothered to fight for anything. We had nothing coming down the right and whatever came down the left was too easily cut out through sloppy short passing not finding a Canvey shirt or our players just not having the effort to step up. Why does or team look so scared to shoot at the goal? Only one effort forced their 'Keeper to hold onto the ball during the first 45 minutes.

Second half and with a little switch around of personnel we look a more attacking threat and we were unlucky not to have added at least one other goal to our tally. But in truth we were never going to reverse a 4-0 deficit.

Presently we have NO midfield, we need Dobbo back in there. We have such a gap between our midfield and defenders it's no wonder we win nothing in the air on that area of the field.

Ian Luck and Colin Wall MUST start the next game. With these two additions to the line-up in yesterday's game we looked more composed at the back and more threatening with some much needed pace up front. Lucky was definately not frightened to shoot on sight and challenged their 'Keeper on multiple occasions. However as harsh as this may seem, Lee Jay has to finally be dropped on his current form. We do not need players having to move out of position to make up for his ineffectiveness.

Barring injuries and offering some strong words I'd like to see our line-up against Enfield look something like this:

Johnson

West, Wall, Stuart, Crow

Roberts, Dobbo, Edgar, Bourne,

Gordon, Luck

My MOM award goes to the Wakering number 7, totally bossed the Midfield for them in the first half.
