No I'm still convinced we will be in the shake up, if we win those six games that will be 18 points and even if we finish third in the table behind either Cockfosters or Stony Stratford Town I believe we will still be promoted if their grounds are deemed not up to Premier Division standard. Obviously a lot hinges, as usual, on further restructuring for next season so anything can happen and nothing will surprise me.

(a) You won't finish in the top 3
(B) Even if you do, you have nowhere to play, so how can the SSMFL promote you? Answer required by 31 March!

I've touched on this before, but I can imagine there will be a lot of resentment from Division 2 clubs in regards of Kentish Town.

The 61FC (Luton), Kings Langley plus Pitstone & Ivinghoe were relegated to Div 2 because of no floodlights, where as Crawley Green, Aston Clinton and AFC Dunstable have all been refused promotion for the same reason , yet all these clubs have a guaranteed ground to play at.

Now I've got no inside information, never been on a league committee or anything like that but I would say that at the moment Kentish Town have far more chance of being in Division 2 next season rather than the Premier, and that is if they don't leave the SSML all together.

AWK - I have to say that I was somewhat taken aback to read this post, you're normally not controversial and don't like ruffling feathers, what has come over you.

AWK is just voicing an opinion or isn't free speech allowed in the Stalinist state that is rhodesworld?

I know how hard The 61 FC fought to stay in Division One, having numerous meetings and arguments about why we (and the likes of Pitstone etc) should be allowed to play in Div 1, and after turning it around on the pitch and fighting our way out of the relegation zone its was a bitter pill to swallow to then get relegated because of the ground.

I also know how hard the likes of AFC Dunstable have tried to secure a better ground to allow them promotion, in many ways in a similar position to Kentish Town Rhodes, except that Kentish Town have gone down the ground sharing route.

If Kentish Town don't have a groundshare agreement in place (bearing in mind you are playing home games on your opponenets pitch) then as I put there could well be questions from teams in Division 2 to why you will still be allowed to play at a higher level.

Believe me that I do have sympathy for you as I do believe that you are trying to move Kentish Town on, but without a decent ground for use next season I fear for you immediate future in the SSML.

AWK - Thanks for that post, I have the utmost respect for you on here and your support unlike the likes of Potters Bar Town, Lato and Spidermanor who unfairly put us down at every opportunity when we are moving heaven and earth to do the right thing and progress the Club as well as make a difference in the local Community which isn't easy in Camden compared to the leafy Communities most SSML Club's are in where there is nothing else or better to do than get involved in the local football Club. It is hardly our fault that we don't have a ground as there are no green spaces in Camden to build one and our three groundshare agreements with Haringey, Potters Bar Town and Hendon have all gone pear shaped simply because 'the piper calls the tune' and they have moved the goalposts on us and gone back on their word when in two of those cases a second season was agreed.

we don't put KTFC down, we just object to your excessive hyperbole, half truths, web of deceipt and ignorance of the facts despite them being given to you.

Like I said we don't ridicule the club, just your over fertile imagination's interpretation of it.

The above post is a classic case of rhodesian and why your posts have little respect.

I have to back up Lato here, Rhodes. No-one is ridiculing Kentish Town FC except you. So you have a former Nigerian international as your coach. He has no coaching track record to boast about. If you had secured Glenn Hoddle, or Sven Goran Erickson or someone like that, you could rightly crow (at least I think you could!). But all you have is a bloke trying to get his coaching badges who used to play for an (at the time) emerging African nation. You are going to finish in fifth or sixth place in Div 1, which will be a good outcome in the circumstances - hardly occasion to shout from the rooftops though, is it?
