Finished 5-0 apparently. Few players missing meant we had 13 and Hale played despite being injured.

and it was [****!!****] abysmal. I thought Walton was the worst we could possibly play but I was pleasant;y surprised. Not one shot single on target, unless you count Billericay backpasses as shots in which case we had plenty. Also I think the best we got up to was four passes in a row before giving it away stupidly

No way in hell we are staying up, did not bother going today as Charlie was unwell and i had no inclination in travelling hundreds of miles to be depressed further. But thanks very much to my texters at the game and see you monday.

As i said on the billericay forum, the fans that showed up today are a credit to your club. Id love to see you guys stay up against all the odds, but if not, best of luck for next year.

I'm glad i didn't come on here last night cos i was fuming. I don't blame the players despite the abject performance. We just aren't good enough for this league but to come and pull the shirt on when you in all honestly expect another thrashing, well i can see why Matty Miller went to Old Trafford. And did they even get paid yesterday?

 

I feel that the supporters are more than pulling their weight - and during half time and at the end of the game we got nothing but praise from Billericay fans. On their forum there's comments "like Last word for the Slough faithful. To turn up in such numbers for a long away trip, and keep singing when 5-0 down...Well done chaps, your a credit to your club."

 

So what about the people who run the club. Quite frankly, the people that 'run' the club don't deserve the supporters we have got. More than ever before i feel its time for them to step aside. Give the club over to the Trust/fans now so we can start planning for next season. Otherwise we are looking at oblivion.

If it wasn't for our goalkeeper, who made some blinding saves, it would have been easily double figures.

 

One thing I would like to say, is a big thanks for the hospitality of the billericay fans and staff before and after the match. You were all coming up to congratulate us on our support.

Steve Hale played despite injury and was really struggling for mobility from the off - I just hope he hasn't done himself more damage trying to make up the numbers. Wilko was on the bench but injured and could not come on. Bartley and James picked up knocks but had to play on.

 

The thing that I find completely embarassing is that we cannot even field a full squad of players. Walton and Hendon have budgets similar to ours but always field full line ups and are producing competitive teams. No criticism is aimed at Wilko, Haley or the rest of the playing staff. They've found themseleves dumped in this horrible situation and credit to them for turning up week in week out to face that.
