Mittem made a good save in the 1st minute. Margate had a corner in the 2nd minute.

Word is that SCS has been dropped for the supposed clanger last week.I beg to differ on that being a clanger at all!.

We get Rt's best mate Hockton made captain whilst SM is suspended; and then again,SCS makes a error and is apparently dropped; whilst Mitten completely unsettles the defence.

Staines have hit the post(they are shooting from distance)with Mitten beaten all ends up.McKimm went of with an injury but is back on the field again.They look the more likelier to score at the moment.Their nippy forwards are giving us problems.(No doubt Chabaan is one of those). Latest though is still 0-0.

Mitten has his bad days but he is still an adequate keeper Michael. He is still better than some teams first choices.I do admit SCS is a better shot stopper & I too would prefer him in goal as he is also more agile but Charlie will do okay more times than not. Anyway the team is picked now & they are all out there trying to secure a result.We can only hope they all do their best as I'm sure they will,including Charlie.Lets wait to see the outcome of todays game & report before we cast judgements on individual performances from todays game eh? I'm not happy either but thats who Trotty has chosen to play today & we have to go with it. Maybe Charlie will end up as our saviour today,who knows!
