Capital League tonight

[Bionic II]

Asa's Aces drew 1-1 at Brimsdown tonight in the Capital League. Facing very strong opposition, our lads, showing some changes from the previous games, went in at half time at 0 - 0, and with two missed first half chances, somewhat unfortunate not to be up.

The Towners, to be fair, were creating more chances in the 2nd period and went in front soon in the second half.

Our lads were not to be outdone and, after a bit of pressure, Elliot Styles nodded home a corner, to make the spoils even.

 

A big mention to Andy and the Towners' Committee, who laid on a special spread for officials and players alike, which at this level, was much appreciated.

Not a problem Bionic, even though it is not our own ground we do like to make our visitors feel welcome. even if it was at short notice!!!
