Following the other day topic regarding my statement about the lack of match programmes at Beaumont,i received an e-mail from my dear club secretary Beryl, stating that club officials at beaumont were upset by my comments. After Beryl, officially apologised to their club secretary,i'm here to offer my apology to anyone at Beaumont that has been offended by my statement. The statement was made in good faith and on the basis that no match programmes were supplied to players and management before the game and on the assumption of an over zealous parent, saying that he couldn't find any match programmes to buy, just before we were going onto the pitch.Further investigations discovered that match programmes were available for sale behind the reception desk and actually one of our officials, terry scourfield bought one. Now,a lot has been said officially and behind the scenes,i wanna just say to people that come on this forum for the first time or not regularly, that over a period of 2 years i have been on the receiving end of some banter.I remember the Eton Manor guys that wanted to meet me at the airport only to find out that they were the most genuine people in the ESL circuit.the Hornchurch fans, the romford ones and i can tell you some of their spicy comments would have upset a lot of my compatriots of sicilian origin. grinCertainly they haven't upset me and they will never will, because of my football background and my good and positive roman sense of humour.i have given and taken banter, always with a pinch of salt and a perspective view of things.I would suggest to people that read things on here for the first time,to view them in a different way. It's banter and only that and if you don't like it,please, just click on a more serious web-site.when you chat everyday to people like coup, smallsy, kaiser, hookey, crfc boss, jenko, bboy, kattyan, beeswax, you can't take them seriously alkAnyway just to cut it short,i wanna just say to the officials that have the privilege to run the ESL,that there 16 clubs and everyone is as important as each other. To our Beaumont friends just that when they will come to hullbridge next year,a nice dish of lasagne and a glass of wine certainly won't be denied.I also kindly ask them,if they could forward to our club address,4-5 match programmes that myself, jack and some of our young players that are moving their first steps into senior football will be pleased to read. After all,i have still got a fiver left from my weekly wages and can afford to buy them.Arrivederci and scusate tanto.

Jenko, in this context (and probably any other) your comment is, to say the least, inappropriate and unhelpful.

From what I know about Beaumont, I was sure that there had been some unfortunate misunderstanding which had led to the confusion about programmes. I am glad that things are on the way to being sorted. I am glad to read what you have now written, Coach. Well done
