why can I not ems the club direct?...

As a long standing supporter of BTFC why can I not express my support/disappointment from ems direct to the club? There is no direct ems site!I cannot even access the club shop for merchandise!

I might add that through many years of supporting that my negative views,(even through the caldwell years) are far outweighed by my positive, recollections of the club.

The good players and the bad have been seen..too many to mention..sounds like a song..but the fact that I cannot send an ems after seeing a result really bugs me..if the team was crap then we really should be able to say so...if they were good even more so!..I'm watching results from overseas and this is my way of supporting a team who are very important to me.

I hope that someone sees this and if you want to have an idea on how a web site should be run look at Bognor..I lived there

for over 2 years and met a lot of their fans and I still send a supportive ems when they are not playing BTFC!..

I leave my whole felt support for the club and trust that the crap off field identity is swamped by a successful on field campaign to the conference!!..ps regards to Ryan/Keth etc!!

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!

...er...is this a criticism....? frown

Why can't you post a comment on here? Everyone else does and people that are involved in the club read it...

And if you're overseas, how would you know how the team has played...most of the comments here are from a personal perspective? And if you have a criticism of how the club is run, what would be your reference point? The same applies to your positive comments...

So many questions....

Crap off field identity? But your overseas, I find it very hard to believe that we are getting negative press in your country Reg.

I know we have fans who regularly travel to away games but they're no icf.

Very strange post Reg, as Gazza said, why not post on here, or telephone, or write?, .

I've sent you a pm, with an email address.

By the way Reg, who are you as i cannot remember a Reg from my time on the terraces (no offence) - memory always was iffy smile I guess it was a while back as presumably you have been away for a long time.

E Up Reggie boy, how do?

I think the Keith in question may be the artist formerly known as 'Keith', now re-named 'Southend Keith'!

This is where it happens Reg, all the best gossip is on 'ere. Why just this afternoon I was talking to this bloke who knew somebody in 'the know' and he said that there was a 'Fat Man' at Chelmsford who had such a great big wodge of notes that he was rolling the pitch with it. It's true I tell ya!

Ryan-good to hear from you. How's the "doris hunting" going these days?!! Good to see that the on field campaign is going great guns and auto promotion a possibility.

My "negative" message was really one of frustration as nearly all the other club sites I visit seem to be set up better. An example was the club shop going back online-still has not happened.

Anyway I was watching the results on the net earlier in the season and was wondering why c@#*%s@%*d were suddenly competing again..ah..Mr Moneybags was there..what a surprise. No doubt when he gets bored with them he'll move onto the next victim....

Hope "southend keith" knows who I am now and to town crier..Ryan can vouch for me, I have supported the club for a long time, the first match remember seeing was up on the Archer Hall pitch to give you an idea and my views of the club are more positive than maybe my ems (glad to know everyone knows what these are now!)suggested..

Regards to everyone who knows/remembers me and...

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!

ps..aussie football(round ball!) standards are around about conference level-why not organise a pre season tour and play Adelaide United?!!

..just an extra reply on this directed to Gazza and the town crier..hopefully Ryan has clued you up on my feelings/thoughts on the club and believe me,even fron 12000 miles the first result I look for is in the ryman premier away from those overpaid tarts in the EPL(english Premier league)! The off field identity is poor as the web site is not updated regularly and you have to go out of the site to see the league table..have a look at Bognor and Garforth town to see how a web site could be run..it may be a money issue but their sites are easy to use.

My comments re the ability to praise or criticise was not a personal perspective as I cannot pass such comment..however it was for the people close to hand, the punters(I used to be one of them) at a Tuesday night 0-0 to the bottom club with 9 fit players in sub zero February temps who would like to voice there frustration along with the august bank holiday trip to and demolition in the sun against Chel#$@*rd wanting to heap praise on the club. The club should really have a contact email (ems) to plug into the wealth of potential off field and overseas sponsorship. I would love to be able to post a message of support direct to the club before a big match and I'm sure there are other 'ricay fans exiled who would like to do likewise?..at the end of the day I want to see MY team continue to grow and be successful..would love to see a pre season tour to australia?.....

An anti-spam measure I should think. Email addies on web pages tend to get "harvested" and added to the spammers lists. A contact form isn't a bad idea though, whereby you type a message into a box, click "Send" and it's emailed off to the club without you actually knowing the email address it's gone to. Requires a site capable of running "scripts" and things, I believe.

Reg, what have you got to say in support of the club that you don't want other people to read? This forum is read by many members of the club, including, I believe the manager and the Chairman...

...so why do you wish to keep your comments to yourself? As for E mail address's for the club...There is one but I haven't seen it listed....

Oh and as for the criticism of the Club Web Site...Well, your certainly not "private" in coming forward when criticising something that someone does in their own time....
