and without a moments anxiety is the best way to sum up tonights game from my perspective...we went in front from a superb piece of individual skill from Krissy Lee early on and then seemed to stroll the next 20 minutes until the young wakering team snatched one back after a crazy defensive error by us...at 1-1 we upped the anti and the pace and scored 2 in 2 minutes to go in at half time with the game won really...

 

second half was very uneventful with neither team creating chances until we upped it again without really threatening a fourth with 10 to go....

 

as always a very warm welcome from the wakering folk who are some of the nicest people in NL football and a good turn out by our fans to boot.....very low key and clinical performance by the urchins who's experience was put to good use tonight.....3 points and games running out....sorry about the silence for 20 minutes but I was chatting to some of their officials and there was nowt happening anyway...

 

well done colin and the lads on an excellent job done..next up potters bar on saturday and methinks that the away games are better for us now...arlesey losing to FH puts the mind set of visitors to the bridge into perspective...

 

and talking of cup finals.....we have one two weeks today....

Sounded like a job well done, and away wins are always welcome. Good effort for the folks who made the journey down there. It's a bit of a mare getting anywhere to far east from Isleworth of an evening, although my trains are already selected for the final.....

didnt get to see the match last night, as i was in hospital recieving treatment for me broken arm . the goals looked gd. and a gd performance. well done to colin and the lads.

Was a bit out in the sticks and the road the ground was down was hidden very well. Not a bad little place, basic but quite good. Bar wern't too bad either.

 

Some quality touches last night; Lee's first goal was quality. The third was also well taken by Parker, great touch to bring it down and finish.

 

All in all a good night and a well earned 3 pts.
