2 games in hand 6 points off top spot, surely with our home record this season as well 2nd place with both games at home in the playoffs is a great result as well. Long way to go yet though.

CCFC have Folkestone and Ramsgate to play. On tonights performance, I wouldn't bet against them dropping more points at those games. Both teams play a similar style as ETU. The CCFC back four don't look good when you play the ball over the top...One can only hope.

a good night of results for us. i always say you have to concentrate on your own results and not worry about your rivals, but its always nice when they drop points. assuming wimbledon drop out of the mix, we look well set for at least a play off place as we have several points on those below us and games in hand too.

 

3 very winnable games coming up, and if we squeeze 7 or 9 points out of those we'll be looking good.

 

oh and if we win our 2 games in hand 8-0 each, we'll be top

Chelmsford had the opportunity to open up a bit of a gap on the likes of AFCW and and Bromley, but weren't able to do so.

Must admit i always thought the first goal was going to be the most crucial one in that game. If Chelmsford had scored first then i believe there would have only been one winner. However ET have been around long enough to know how to play it eh!!

 

Anyway, for us we just need to keep going ourselves..

Jumping the gun a bit I know, but I still think it will be the Clarets and Ricay who will go up this year. I'm hoping my lads will be able to pick up enough points from the "difficult" games we have left to give us the title (injuries and suspensions permitting), as I believe that your boys have been the most consistent over the past 3 months and will be good enough to bag second spot. As someone on here has already pointed out, your home record should see you through the play-offs without any problems. Fingers crossed.

Ah but thats what we thought 2 years ago when we finished second, and we got dumped out by the 5th placed team. If we do happen to finish second therell be no assumptions from us. Anyway, its still all to play for and theres no reason we shouldnt aim for the top. Not that we expect to get there of course, being just a little ol' town club....

Dont follow that I thought Chelmo had only lost one at home all season , anyway we need to keep focussed on our own results , there will be plenty of twists & turns yet and I reckon it could
