The half time draw

Crazy Fool

Recommended Posts

Heard a rumour. Thought it was tosh. Then Roy announnced the half time raffle. A draw to win £60. He kept saying, every sentence he spoke. Win £60. The winner come and collect their £60 etc etc etc

No mention of envelopes? No mention of the 500 odd quid in one of the envelopes? The other prizes donated?

I wont say what the 'rumour' is, but i reckon you can guess.

What has happend to the envelopes?

What has happened to the 500 quid?

Thge raffle was advertised in the programme as a draw to pull enevlopes and a chance to win £500. NOT to win £60 with no draw.

Allegedly, The last home game there again no envelopes and the winner was 'encouraged' to take the £60.

Maybe I am wrong?

Can anyone enlighten me?

At the Walton game it was a 50/50 draw, with a minimum prize of £60. The minimum guarantee of £60 kicked in as only £92 was taken in ticket sales (a 50/50 prize would have been £46 otherwise.)

Not a good idea at all, it will cost the club money.
