League Chairman,i can see from your ESL note, you was pleased about Beaumont winning their home game against Hullbridge and it shouldn't be otherwise.I wanna just drop a note, forgetting all the things i have seen last saturday. As a guest living in this beautiful football country for many moons,i learned to appreciate the unique football atmosphere at a non-league game. The smell coming from the burger bar-van,the before-after game drinks, supporters shouting at you from close distance and all the banter with the opposition bench.Yesterday's game took me back more than a decade to when i was playing in a big stadium with a massive running truck,in front of a few hundred supporters yards away, changing rooms with an inside 100 degres temperature and no windows, opposition players fighting each other even when they were winning,a slow linesman trying to keep up with the game and not flagging a blatant offside for their second goal,an opposition manager that doesn't even come to shake your hands after a game with no bookings on our behalf, no bar,no burger but mostly......no MATCH PROGRAMMES! crazy Yesterday,There was a 15 years old player, making his senior debut,a player that will go a long way in non-league football and i think even beyond that. His dad was looking for a match programme so he could remember the day when his boy "Royce" made his senior non-league debut.Unfortunately, there was nothing that could resemble a non league match programme available :)Now for a club that has a decent web-site and represent a big community, certainly producing a match programme shouldn't be really a problem or we are asking too much?Anyway,i leave the ball in your court and i'm sure you can explain to the Beaumont people that there are a lot of things that can appreciate from the country that is hosting or gave birth to some them and one of these,is a MATCH PROGRAMME!Now let's just forget what happened saturday with all the chances we missed before they scored in the last 15 minutes and 7 first team regulars missing and let's take it out on our guests Basildon Utd on tuesday night. They will love playing against a "depleted"Hullbridge side... wink

as clubs are fined for no heating in the changing rooms, they should be fined for "exhausting" the opposition too! grin

The latest League handbook says that there is a fine for not producing a matchday programme as well as for the away team not providing information to the home team for the programme! frown

I apologise to Coachie, I had a [****!!****] game on Saturday, still feeling my ankle a bit, and probably in hind sight shouldn't have done the game, but for the second goal I am 100% sure that the 13 was offside, but the guy that scored the goal was on the shoulder of your central defenders when the ball was kicked.

As for etiquette etc, I got a program, I just asked for one. And it's also very mature of your players to shake hands with the referee, and the other assistant then snub me, good one Oggers you mug.

Jack Pridmore seems like a real nice guy, and looked like a proper coach putting the guys through their paces in the warm up. I really thought Hullbridge were unlucky to lose, but the amount of youngsters you had playing were commendable, and I really hope you do well through the rest of the season.

Rooney I think you are one of the best in this league and at least you can admit when you have bad game. If more officials were like that it would make a big difference.

Still want an explanation for that foul you gave against Barkingside when our guy was clean through.... whistle

fair enough lino! :)even with a weakened side i thought we should have won,by just taking the chances that fell to paterson,oggers,tomlinson,brownie(2)spreadborough(2) before they scored on 74th minute with a free-kick crazysome players struggled with the warm weather(not played for 2 weeks) and the bloody heat in the changing rooms.their captain bossed the midfield that had four regulars missing and nobody have been able to kick the fecker.Yes,we had an even younger side on the day but i'm using last few games to have a look at players for next season.Anyway,3 days in football is a long time and players are back in numbers.... grinwatch out Basildon wink
