ive just had a quick read through the threads and didnt see anything about your ground.How did it look, was it bad and did it have any bearing on the result,the reason i ask is that i went to ETU yesterday and saw potholes all over our game wasnt great but i can certainly put it down to a very poor pitch

Still a bit boggy round the centre circle, Mick, but back to normal on the wings. Cut up a bit in that centre area, but if the weather holds I think it will recover and be back to normal for our run of home games. Goalmouths looked pretty good.

EDIT: Next home game is Tue 20th March against Leyton, not on the following Saturday against Heybridge as originally stated.

do you think ,with the ammount of home games you have left,will this be an advantage or disavantage,most teams would prefer a good run in with mostly home games

I think that will depend on the results. We know when a team wins it carries a certain momentum, in the players' confidence, in the fans' wishing to return to watch this, and with the resulting improvement in atmosphere all round.

If that takes off, I am sure all the players would prefer to play a few games back to back than train.

Got to take it as an advantage Mick, with home crowd behind the team we need every available point to finish as high as we can. You can look at it in both ways but Trotty HAS to use it as adavantage !

problem is with maybe two home games a week will people be able to afford to come to both matches. Even more important to get some good results.

And our home record hasn't been all that impressive. And, let's face it, with a poor opening 20 minutes or so, it doesn't take long for the crowd to get on the players' backs (not literally, thankfully). I would say that, with us, it may not be that much of an advantage.
