Wrong Tactics!

Ok we had 3 midfielders suspended, but putting Jackson in central midfield was a mistake. That meant Smith left back and Skinner left wing – both out of position.

The risk of throwing the inexperienced Wisker into central midfield was surely a better option than breaking up our excellent left-side partnership.

It was obvious it wasn’t working after 20 mins, so why wait until we were 2-0 down to change it?

When the change was eventually made we suddenly started producing on the left, but too late.

By the way I thought it should have been Oates off, with Smith reverting to RB.

Either way Saunders was pretty much on his own in the centre for most of the match. I thought he did well when a lot of players would have been overwhelmed.

I too agree on this one.All game & from the off I couldn't understand why Skinner was out wide with our most influential player playing inside. This shouldn't even have been an option but having made it, it should have been corrected after 20 minutes.

How clear was it that it wasn't the correct decision & that it wasn't working? The biggest "goof" of the day.

Totally agree with this. Why Jacko in the middle ? Skinns at left back and JJ left mid that would of left middle of the park for Danny wisker and Jay ? Totally hacked off with that decision !

Thought Baggers had a good first half but faded in the second. Mike Flanagan was telling Baggers to push on and wide ? Was he upfront or midfield ? I think he sometimes felt the same. Did anybody else feel that Pinnock was dropping to deep ? Leaving DH isolated upfront, we need pinns up there making his runs of the defenders shoulders not coming deep to pick up the ball. As for Pat and Trotty I thought they were shocking ! Is it time for trotty to have a look fom the sidelines ???...... mad

It just amazes me how this team can be so good one week and totally inept the next. I thought the team would come out second half fired up to get the equaliser, but they didn't seem to have any passion at all to win the game. There was no encouragement or talking from anybody, and what was Danny Hockton doing as captain, or am I mistaken.

Surely being top a few weeks ago and being in a play off place should be a big enough boost as it is!!

as said having Mckimm back in the frame will and should change things around , he seems to be a person that alot of the players look upto and our good run was when Mckimm was wearing the Captains armband , no disrespect to Danny but he`s a goal scorer not a Captain and at the mo he`s not doing either so give Mc his band back Trotty and let him and Danny do what they no best Captain the team and be our leading goal scorer respectivley.

Think I'm right in saying that, on Saturday, Proths will be back too .. giving us our strongest midfield. Danny needs to find his scoring boots too (he hasn't scored since the 4-4 at Harrow - that's five games without a goal) let's hope we at least get a penalty at Staines he doesn't miss them!
