And yes, i know our keeper looks appalling but hair style is a matter of personal choice I was told he stood no chance with your screamer of a first goal.

Cheers, i think we all know our season is over anyhow, The first goal (although hit well) he got a hand on and most keepers would have put over but he didnt manage to, and the 2nd he just watched bobble in and we should have got another when he bottled a 1 on 1, but hey ho such is football.

today was one of those days which make me proud to wear the shirt. the players gave absolutely everything, and were very unlucky, the ref was crap and tonbridge were incredibly lucky (easily the worst team I have seen at our place this season).

a great strike from moleski to equalise, davies goal very lucky, but we shouldve got something from that game, we easily deserved a point, if not all 3.

i thought we eventually adapted to the terrible pitch conditions which made life a bit easier.

It was great stuff form the Rebels in appalling conditions. The pitch is nothing short of a disgrace despite everyone's efforts. Moleski's goal was excellent and had Wilko's crashing header gone in I think the place would have completely erupted. Good atmosphere in the second although apologies to Gary and Emma for my take on the Christian Dailly song!

guys i have to say that pitch was a disgrace - there was never a chance we were going to be able to play decent football on that HOWEVER we peppered your goal -twice hitting the post and god knows how many times going within a foot of scoring. fair dos our keeper kept you in a game you should have been dead and buried in but had you got anything it would have been daylight robbery.

Know its been a tough season so best wishes to a decent set of fans and hope you bounce back next season.

 

BTW your keeper let you down badly, telling people they are c**ts and to [****!!****] off repeatedly doesnt do anyone any good and nearly caused a nasty scene

It's our beach and I won't hear a bad word said about it.

 

I think our friends from Tonbridge who are reading this should bear in mind the season we've been having. We don't normally score, let alone get in a winning position. We created more chances today than we usually do, and seeing Wilko's header smash into the bar late on was quite cruel seeing as he really deserves a goal, and it might have snatched us a point.

 

With that said though, I thought Tonbridge were well on top throughout, as you might expect, and were well worth their win. They played ok - I'm sure they've played better - and created quite a bit. It's just that usually we would concede 5 against the likes of them and so we can consider ourselves 'unlucky' in the sense that we played quite well, even got ahead 2-1, and kept their dangerman Jon Main at bay on several occasions, whilst always looking to push forwards at 2-2. I don't think Main had the best of games today but then scoring twice when not at your best is the sign of a good striker.

 

High points were George Moleski netting his first for the club, a fantastic dipping effort from 25 yards, Dennison playing well in goal again (can't really comment on his exchanges with the fans though), and overall a good team performance to take into Tuesday.

Well done those battling Rebels ..the penalty was more than Harsh ..it was a crazy decision (how the hell do you thing a player can get out of the way of a pile driver from 2 yards away ! let tonbridge regain the momentem...

 

BTW our goal keeper is young and learning ..so if he makes a mistake thats part and parcel of him learning..as for swearing at you behind the goal I take it you did not give him any stick ! I doubt it...

he got the usual good natured stick yes , turning round and saying " thats shut you up you stupid f****g c**t " is not a good thing to say when a) you are ginger have a shocking hair do (and yes I know ours is worse) and c) have just let in another goal.

 

anyways end of all the best for the rest of the year sure you cant wait for it to end
