I am trying to find out or find Joey Adams he played for Slough in the 1973 FA amtr cup final..anyone with any information please contact me here

Think you'll find he was not in cup final squad, and is not mentioned in programme

no he never played in 1973 cup final-he went back to enfield at the end of season 1972, he was a very useful player( striker )not as good as john ritchie but good all the same.

He played for Slough the previous season and starred in the two epic Amatuer cup semi final games against Daggerham at the Valley with the replay at Craven Cottage where we lost a superb striker and England International the best two games I've seen Slough play.

Believe he was one of the mass exodus of players along with manager Tommy Lawrence who joined us from Enfield.

But as always at that time the Daggers Wycombe Hendon Sutton and Enfield like Slough all had top Amatuer England players playing for them but those teams always seemed to come out on top. against us
