Bowers really do need to sort this out. If there is 2 days of dry weather any ground should be able to get a match on it.

what would you like me to say about it? i cant exactly sit here and defend it and it pisses me off more then anyone. our last game was london apsa over 3 weeks ago. we have set ourselves up in a good league position and havent been backed up off the pitch cos now we are going to be playing 3/4 games a week and its ruined any chance of finishing 3rd 4th or 5th

The problem is with the drainage and the fact that much of the area is built on "London Clay", which is notoriously poor for drainage.

 

It is not a lack of care or attention, if it was it could be addressed. The Bowers pitch probably gets more TLC than most clubs at this level.

 

The only real answer is to rip it all up and insert a proper drainage system, this of course takes time and a lot of money.

i don't think so...it's the other way round because you'll then know how many points you need and play teams that have little or nothing to play for.I personally think you should be fined because this way the league is distorted.
