I reckon that pic's from our 4-2 win over Gravesend & Northfleet on 1.1.03 in the Conference. We won at G&N in the FA Cup earlier in the season to set up the Orient tie.

Might have to call for a stewards enquiry here ! The photo must be from 01/02 or 02/03 as Simon Beard's in it.

 

It can't be 01/02 and be a cup tie as JK didn't score any cup goals that season.

 

So that means it's 02/03 and it's clearly from a game played at Hartsdown - we only played six games at Hartsdown in 02/03 and only two were cup ties, neither of which JK scored in.

 

JK got two goals in the six Hartsdown matches, against Kettering in the Conference on 28.12.02 and against Gravesend & N on 1.1.03 so I reckon the pic's got to be from one of those two games.

Think its the wrong pic with the story Jeff. As the Orient game was played at Crabble !!!!!

 

And the next round was a money earning tie against Cardiff

I'll call off my legal team ! The photo's not from the Orient game - they must have just used a stock photo they'd got lying around and stuck it on the page with the report. Either that or it was an unusually light evening when we beat Orient and the Hartsdown Road terrace was transported to Dover for the night !

LMAO Jeff ! So JK did score a cup goal in 01/02 season ? Note Mark Munday in the pic as well ?

JK missed most of 01/02 with a cruciate injury and didn't score any cup goals. JK, Beardo and Mark Munday were a very good midfield combination.

I think the pic is from the Telford home game in early September of the 2001/2 season. Good memory eh! Keister scored a great goal that day.

I totally agree with Paul there. Always look at the crowd and their atire. Warm day, grass on pitch and new looking shirts. It looks september to me and to think i was watching the gee-gees at kempton Park on that day. I misses a gooden.
