Their defence was just as bad as the keeper.

 

We were not even playing at our best and also hit the woodwork 3 times and had a shot cleared of the line.

 

If we had really sparked it could have been double figures.

I know a couple of the Witham players quite well, and its embarrasing that some of them are playing at Ryman North standard.

 

It makes me think even I would get a game playing for Witham!

They did try to play football all night, but came up against the champions elect which was never going to be easy.

I don't think anyone should be slagged off at this level.

They do their best and normally give their all because they love playing football and if you are lucky they entertain you.

Totally agree. It is wrong to say they were "embarrasing" because they showed total commitment all evening. Their heads didn't seem to drop - even when we scored number seven. The Witham players are a credit to themselves and their team.
