But at that point I was NOT having it cut until we lost a league game. It's only since the Tring debacle that I've been in the market for a haircut. I like Potters Bar Town's suggestion of Gavin cutting it at the Challenge Trophy Final, as a warm up to the star turn "clip Rods and his amazing fedora eating"!

Do you think the SSML Challange Trophy is a bigger/better cup to win then the Premier Cup, becuase it involves all 3 SSML divisions?

The Challenge trophy is a better competition for the reason you mentioned. It is the leagues official cup competition, the divisional cups are jsut there to give teams a few more games. Its like comparing the FA Cup to the League Cup.

I find it funny that the only game that was waiting on an inspection is the one at Holmer Green, if you take a look at my pics from Saturday match on my blog site, you will see that you can add a PP to the Holmer Green fixture

 

if it gets played, the poor old boy who is the groundsman will not be happy! Fair play to him he is in his 70's and still does all the odd jobs around the ground and keeps the pitches looked after, Horace is it like looking at your future? LOL

Thought that was the case, so I noticed you played the final last season on a bank holiday monday in May, do you think the same will be the case this season. Just asking because my GF wants to take me away for my Birthday which is on the 9th May on a Wednesday and the bank holiday is on the 7th I think.

Do you agree that Harefield could be the venue if we both get to the final?

What was the crowd last season for the match v Hillingdon? they are you rivals right?

Any idea when the Premier cup final normally gets played and is it midweek, and if so, before or after the end of the season?

I reckon the venue will be Broxbourne Boro for our game with Oxhey

Do you sample burgers at every ground you go to?

 

At least that will be an extra good reason to look forward to promotion to the Ryman 1, as the grounds will have tea bars/ burgers bars, whereas most in the SSML dont, inc ours
