The When Saturday Comes Article on Toto Tammuz

Recommended Posts

Great National Exposure?

For pity's sake Rhodes, the grainy 5 second clip was accompanied by a giggly mention from Helen that it was "scored by Tommy Catania of (giggle) Spartan South (giggle) Midlands Premier Division side (giggle) Haringey Borough". If you blinked you missed the whole thing. How do you build on that?

No wonder you think that a passing mention for Kentish Town in WSC was so noteworthy.

Easily, by winging a letter off to Soccer AM on Haringey Borough letter headed paper thanking them for featuring 'our Club' on their programme and asking Helen and Tim to kindly show the clip again in slow motion in order to tout 'the great' Tommy Catania to league Club's, a player like that should at least be at your Orient's or Brentford's and is selling himself short.

He's the player who's indiscipline got him sent off after 32 minutes in the "infamous" 0-9 defeat in September! It was only 0-2 at the time (although it should have been 0-5).

Surprise, surprise, an extract from the sentence reads as follows: 'Clement Temile, Coach of Kentish Town FC, from the Spartan South Midlands League (only ten divisions from the Premiership)', it goes on to quote 'the great one' who says 'Toto should be ashamed talking about his parents that way but I believe that God will bring him to me, he is much better than Yakubu Aiyegbeni and he will come to play in England'. This is far more than Lato originally told us was contained in the article and great publicity for the SSML to get a mention in the high profile cult magazine that has a Worldwide distribution.
