Tonights game

Is tonights game likely to be on as it was raining most of last night and theres forecast rain again later.

Their website indicates that it is "doubtful" but they will let us know more details later just as soon as they have any more information.

I've just rung Hendon up.

The groundsman has cleared most of the water from the pitch, but there are still a few wet patches.

 

There is currently no pitch inspection planned, and if it doesn't rain before the game, it is looking very hopeful.

(Assuming it is not the same ref as before - The guy said that they haven't played on a pitch as good as Hendon's was that day, since)

 

I will give Hendon another call about 3:30 and post again. After that I will be (hopefully) travelling.

I can just back up what Horsham Rebel has said. It's been good drying weather here in NW2 since I arrived at work at 7am this morning (I work about 1/2 mile from the ground).

 

Horsham - you may find that there isn't anyone in the office at 3.30 as our secretary usually pops home around then for a break on matchdays. I'll be posting any updates on our messageboard - its safe to assume that if I haven't updated that the game is going ahead as planned.

 

Look forward to seeing those of you that are able to make it this evening. If you want to say hi I'll be manning the members gate before the game.

All depends on the referee now, at 6pm or when ever he arrives.
