Pre-season friendlies

A bit of forward planning never did anyone any harm.

 

It struck me that as there seems a bit of a positive vibe between Wimbledon and margate clubs; that this would make a suitable pre-season friendly.

 

traditionally, i guess teams in same league don't play each other-but can't personally see the harm in it-and anyway, its probably only 60/40 that we will be in same league next season anyway.

Either at HDP or in London; i reckon this would be a good fixture to organise at a reasonably early stage.Wonder if anyone at MFC empowered to do so, thinks similarly.

Won't matter about teams in same league playing each other as we will be in Conf South and they will be Ryman Premier!!!!

Meanwhile back to pondering over lesser clubs such as Wombledon

Don't think Wimbledon is a bad idea at all. Great crowds to kick start the season and get cash in the bank.

Too right - great atmosphere on Saturday!! Nice to be at a non-league game with an attendance that beat some League 2 sides!!!
