A work colleague was at the Grays/Halifax trophy game , after they were robbed <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />(he says) Stimmo went over to his fans and said ; Never mind lads , it's Canvey next week !

It would seem as you might expect , Grays are up for spoiling Canveys run , should be a good game <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

say what you want about the stimmo, he was class for us and he has generated 'on his own' a real rivalry with our neighbours whom we never really gave a toss about.. and thats good for football and crowds

Stimmo and Smith were my two favourite players at Canvey and was very surprised when Smith left <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> In a way i'd love Smith to come back, but can't see it happening now.

 

Miller for Minton? What were they thinking?!

Stimmo! Be afraid, be very afraid! If we play like we did tonight Stimmo will be crying into his beer come Saturday night.

 

So many interesting battles Minton v Miller, Boylan v Smith, Ward v Vaughan, Stimmo against anybody wearing a yellow jersey! What's the betting Stimmo gets a yellow card for one of them sneaky elbows. J.K was on the receiving end of one at Park Lane so watch them two do battle. Could be real fireworks!

 

Wonder if the coppers will turn up like last time (a panda car of just two coppers!!) You know what these lynch mobs are like!

It's a shame we lost these players to Grays , when it comes down to it , you need players that are committed to promotion, maybe some of them were and had other reasons for leaving <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> , they all have given as good memories and good luck to them ,( except Saturday's game ).
