All this talk about windsor and their budget is rubbish. we all no that they have one of the best budgets in the league and all the players are on decent money (alot more then Brook's players). The truth is that the players are just not performing to the best of their ability, and if they continue to try and play good football on rubbish pitches then they will stay in that league for a very long time.

U need results and i'm sure the fans will agree that promotion/winning is the main priority and the stlye of football isn't. Things at Windsor haven't been right for sometime! Simon needs to get the team playing ugly but effective football, cos player for player Windsor easily have the best team in the league, but if they don't match the workrate of other teams then it means nothing.

One last thing, although Ursell is injured he could still contribute more quality in 20 mins from the bench them any player in the league! Simon just play him, what have u got to lose!!!!

is that some sort of joke? if we want promotion we don't need players from a pub side! and if thats true that is seriously worrying

As a Bracknell Town fan who quite often comes to watch games at Stag Meadow when we are playing too far away I didn't really feel that there was a great deal between yourselves and Brook House on Saturday. If Ulasi's penalty appeal had been awarded then things would have been level again and the need to push upfield to get back into the game would not have been necessary. Virtually all the goals were down to bad defending or luck and probably the actual score should have been 1-1.

Amazing how a defeat can generate such a heated debate.

As the rain falls again outside my office window on this Monday afternoon I really don't think that I'll be making the journey to Stage Meadow tomorrow night because I think it'll be Stag Marsh by then.

Matt, what you have to understand is that even though a team is not very good, or doing badly, that there isn't a particular player that we shouldn't be going after.

There are a few Saturday park footballers that, if given a chance, could do a very good job at this level.

Where do you think that we found Will Dunlop?

the problems arise because some people at this club can't admit that there are problems. no offence towards brook house, or to winchester, oxford, bracknell, etc etc but in order to gain promotion these teams that linger in the bottom half of the table need to be beaten.the problem is we have been comprehensively beaten by brook house, lymington and oxford and struggled against a few of the other teams.
And lets look at the league table at the end of the season. other than bashley winning it, and maybe hanwell going down, nothing else is guarenteed.

and in response to malcolm, decent players will not leave clubs in the main its the reserves and players liek that....are you trying to say that brook house reserves are good enough for our first team if we really do want to get anywhere near going up?

Firstly, their entire team didn't leave so it is not 'Brook House Reserves' as you call them.

Your point was we should not be looking for players at poor teams, my reply was that a good player can be found in a poor team and teams in much lower standards of football can do a job at this level. The reason that most of them aren't is that no one has bothered to talk to them.

In response to your question, maybe some of them might do a job, they have just turned us over 5-3.

Matthew you really dumb or is it some sort of act? You really do entertain me with what you say however so keep it up.

People say we want a team with fight and brook house had that against us and then when we are linked with some of their players we say they are not good enough!!

i know the budget of a top five team at step four level which is a quarter of simons, which tells you what a piss poor job he is doing. never been a manager.

i ask you again tell me one team in the whole country at step four with a worse budget vs points ratio.

How the [****!!****] can we when we don't know every single budget for every single club at step 4.

If you know them all then why not list them here and work out the ratio's and prove your point. If not then stop trying to stir up the [****!!****]!!

I think we should stick with the squad we have. We know they can play well. Like people said this team did well at the beginning of the season and with the latest few additions I think this could be a good side. They just need a bit more motivation and it would be nice to get a run of games going.

Did we really expect to go straight up again this year? I kind of expected a season to get use to the league and then next season be pushing for promotion. I think being told at the beginning of the season "That We Would Get Promotion" has really got us going and now that it's looking tougher to achieve we are getting frustrated.

Just one thought though...Have we run out of jelly beans!!!

Who cares about the budget. Its the position in the league that counts and at the moment its not looking good for us.

Matt your comment about Brook House being a pub side is a bit out of order.

Simon should be given more time and he will get there in the end.

This from a man who though that windsor would get relegated this season!

Thats me that is!
