Freebie Tickets to the Weymouth Game

Did anyone else (season ticket holders I presume) get a ticket which enables a friend in for free to the Weymouth game on Tuesday?

 

I hope to be bringing a mate from work who keeps saying he'll come down and watch but as of yet never has....!

No, I hadn't heard of this. I know other season ticket holders who certaily have not received such a voucher. When did you receive this? At the Morecambe game? In fact in a list of initiatives to attract more people through the turnstiles for future games that I knew was under consideration, it appeared to be the Club's intention to leave this particular match alone and rely on the usual paying customers. Perhaps the Board had a change of mind? There are likely to be some offers applying for a number of the remaining Saturday matches though, so watch out for announcements.

I have one and have persuaded my dad to come along, he hasnt been since the Ryman days and im hoping he approves! For those that dont know me, il be on crutches with a broken leg (ruddy Nurstead goalkeeper!) - nothing will keep me from the fleet!

I got mine in the post ... taking a Charlton fan , so he can (a) catch up with Charlton ressies now at Fleet , and ( SEE A WINNING TEAM !

Mine arrived Saturday.

 

One problem , or oportunity missed though.

 

Maybe they should have had a bigger ticket with an option to fill in a name and address.

 

The people who ultimately receive these tickets are not season ticket holders but guests of season ticket holders and hence new customers or customers a season ticket may be aimed at.

 

Just seems that they have given a welcome free ticket but wont actually gain any information from it.

Great idea - there is still the obverse side that can be filled in at the gate by staff or users - but may cause a queue , and obviously won't work too well if a kid is using it . Having said that , only 200 odd tickets went out , let's do it !
