Israel v England - Will He or Won't He

Recommended Posts

Well it is still 'Royal Secret' as to who is inviting 'the great one' over to Tel Aviv as their VIP guest but all will be revealed soon, it's not Toto however rest assured that all misinderstandings and bridges will be mended and Toto will finally be reunited and in the bosom of his loving father. Clement has told me his version of the story and Toto has totally got the wrong end of the stick, afterall he was only two at the time, lets face it no Father on earth would ever abandon his own children, I often wish I could abandon mine but at the end of the day it simply doesn't happen.

Well again that's 'Royal Secret' but all will be revealed before too much longer, lets just say that it was the most fascinating hour and a half of my life listening to his life story in the back of the car on the way up to Winslow United and it was on occasions difficult to stop the tears streaming down my face. 'The Great One' has not had an easy life by any stretch of the imagination and deserves huge credit for making it to the very top of the World stage against much adversity, it shows anything is possible as long as you have belief in both yourself and God, drive and determination.

Rhodes, i never had you down as being gullible or a sucker for a sob story.
You need to toughen up - stop being a pussy cat. Sounds like he is selling you a load of [****!!****] & bull.

I'd love to know what the immigration status of 'the great one' is in our country.
Does he have 'stamps' on his passport saying 'no recourse to public funds'

You've got me all wrong Rhodes! I am perfectly happy to see Toto play against England. What I said was that the authorities would NOT GIVE HIM ISRAELI CITIZENSHIP in order to play, and they haven't!

So do the KTFC players want Israel to win the game just because the estranged son of their coach may play

Paula - I'm not sure what has suddenly brought you out of the woodwork for this particular post however I am not gullible or a sucker for a sob story, although I did cry at the end of Love Story in the 70's. Of course 'the great one' isn't selling me a load of bull and he's as British as roast beef and yorkshire pud and pie and mash, I think you are beginning to take your job too seriously and tarring him with the same brush as the Albanians and Kosovans who land on Southend beach in rowing boats in the dead of night.

Can someone post an accurate critique of Toto's performance if he plays as I don't think I'll see anything of it being as I'm in Warsaw for the Polska v Azerbaijan game. Pity because I'd like to see how good he is.

Lato - Don't worry, there will no doubt be lots of video clips posted on this very thread for you to view at your leisure for when you get back. I think the headlines are waiting to be written.

Rhodes said "Paula - I'm not sure what has suddenly brought you out of the woodwork"

Isn't that a rather defamatory phrase to use about your former "girlfriend"?

RobbieO - Thanks for that but nothing I didn't know already, I'll tell Kentish Town City Farm that there will be £25 coming its way shortly.

Didn't you read Horace's post - he did say it twice just in case you missed it the first time.

Your selective memory is getting worse!

Well what difference does that make, if he plays then surely Horace should stump up, what about all those hungry rabbits, geese and fish.

Rhodes - you can't be that thick! The point I was making, as well you know, was that the Israeli authorities would not bow to his demands for Israeli citizenship. They have offered him temporary travel documents, so that if he leaves Israel with the national team, he will be allowed back in. He appears to have accepted this

I didn't see any Rabbits or Fish there although I might've missed them...

It's time for Horace to get his pen out and write a cheque to Kentish Town City Farm, Toto has been formerly granted Israeli citizenship:

Sorry, but a quote form another player is not adequate proof that he really has been granted Israeli citizenship.
