postponements

Does any one know if the Ryman League has the power to either fine teams or dock points if a team has an unacceptably amout of postponements during the season. Just a thought as some one at work said he thought this could be a possibility. Afraid Sunday @ Mondays forcast is heavy rain for this area so I think Tuesdays match cold be in doubt already.

In 2000-2001 there were loads of teams in the Isthmian League who had a backlog of games. I think the season was extended for games that affected promotion and relegation, but games between mid-table teams were left unplayed. For example, Hendon, who finished 12th, only ended up playing 40 games that season in a 22-team league.

If it came to it is there anyway that we could play at another ground to get all the postponements out of the way..

i dont think the directors like the idea of ground sharing theres not as many supporters turn up - i remember when we were at Ashford there was only a few of us

HF Maidstone asked to use another ground as the amount of postponements was building up, the Isthmian League declined their request
