GREAT WAKERING ROVERS F.C.

NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT AT SOUTHEND UNITED’S ROOTS HALL

ON TUESDAY 27TH MARCH 2007-02-27

WHEN THEY PLAY AFC HORNCHURCH IN THE

FANS FOCUS.COM ESSEX SENIOR CHALLENGE CUP FINAL

GREAT WAKERING ROVER’S opponents in the final are runaway leaders of the RYMAN LEAGUE Division One North

AFC HORNCHURCH.

AFC HORNCHURCH is one of the best supported non-league clubs in Essex and should bring in the region of seven to eight hundred supporters with them on the night.

GREAT WAKERING ROVERS have a strong tradition of large support for occasions such as these although the opportunity to do so has not been as often as we would have liked. So that is why we are issuing this rallying call

For as many and as much support as we can muster for this cup final.

Our Chairman ROY KETTRIDGE is calling for the event to be an occasion one that can be remembered for years to come, when as many people as possible turned up showing their support by wearing green and white. We hope to see as many of the village’s children in cup final fever, with face paint and wearing green wigs or green hats. We hope to see as many of our Colts and Mini Soccer teams turn up wearing their team shirt.

JEFF CARDY who lives in Little Wakering Road wrote recently to the Echo Newspaper stating that this is the biggest game in the club’s eighty eight year history and such and occasion should be supported to the fullest extent.

You would think the ESL would rearrange all fixtures for that evening in order to ensure maximum turn out for the County's Blue Ribband event!!!

Mr LC?
