Pegasus Athletic

I've heard of Pegaus Athletic (or I should say Pegasus) many times, but know hardly anything about their senior team. Where did they play, why did they leave the league and what were they like?

 

I expect at least 3 stupid answers before anything serious, cheers.

They played in the ESL for one season...71-2. Then played one game the following season, losing 11-1 against Tiptree and promptly resigned from the League.

They had ground trouble and tried to get Melbourne Park at Chelmsford, but that all went tits up.

No idea if they still exist now.

Didn't realise they were actually Chelmsford (ish) based then, not bad. Don't think they exist anymore as an adults side at least. I'll have a look about. Cheers coupy.
