well it seems only 1 game survived the weather tonight...Worthing beat Ramsgate 3-2, all the other games (6) were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Which is completely understandable because the weather has been [****!!****]. But no other team has the backlog of fixtures we do so it will not pose any real problems for them. It looks like March will be a long and bloody expensive month for football.

I have just been past maidenheads ground on the train and thats as bad (if not worse) then stag meadow. There are large puddles everywhere, and thats with only one team playing on it.

 

So If this is your last season at windsor, maidenhead next year wont be any better.

Cheers - we are well aware of that. Probably one of the most significant reason that we turned Maidenhead down this season was that we would not be able to guarantee an improvement in the pitch. Unfortunately we were swayed by promises about the condition of the Meadow pitch. Whilst I applaud the efforts that Windsor went to - it seems to me it was too little too late and misdirected.
