I'm sure we've been here before but I can't remember it being this bad in terms or postponements.

 

When exactly does the season have to be finished by? Also, what allowances can be made in terms of extending the season, i.e. is this at the ESL's discretion or is it an FA ruling?

when the season ends?28th april or 21st?interesting to know because i have got my secretary that want to reschedule the burnham home match on the 27th march,the same night as the ESSEX cup final at roots hall!i proposed tuesday 17 th april or the 28th march(following day) with no champions league games or any cup finals on that night.League chairman where are ya?We need you..

i agree.As much as it won't give me the chance to spend my first christmas in italy with my family after 14 years,we should play at least one if not 2 games over that period.

what i cannot understand as well is why we don't play games in may?warmer weather,better pitches.sure the season could finish 1-2 weeks into may.the weather has changed chaps,bear that in mind smile

Why is Apr 28 not on the agenda? I believe the League Cup final is on the following Monday, so once the two teams are known, then surely the aforementioned date, plus the midweek before must come into play...and saying that, what is wrong with May 5? Are the start and finishing dates cast in stone, unlike the playing of suspended players.. bigshock
