There are always doubts about a mans driving I'm afraid Gary and Martin why would you be telling us that useless bit of information when most of us are 30yrs away from being OAP's.

One story I like is a man in his 70's in Holland drove into a river because his Sat-Nav told him to....He even knew that a bridge did not exist, but had blind faith that the Sat-Nav must be right.

Had a look at the pitch earlier this evening and I think that providing it doesn't rain their should be no problem with the game going ahead.

 

There are one or two areas that need to be firmed up but hopefully they should be ok.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but we are in for heavy rain all night and morning, and then again in the evening. According to the BBC weather this evening, anyway.

I am not saying it will rain, I'm not saying it won't, it's just that I don't trust weather forecasts, especially from the BBC.

They've been known to say that its is sunny outside even when you can see that it is pissing down behind them.

 

It still only takes a small amount of rain at the moment to call games off, on what are already saturated pitches.
