HTFCew, as viewed from one of 'The Faces' in crowd

As no one else has mentioned it I'll describe my view of the reason why there was about +10 in the Hertford game... I think the Broxbourne player is going to have a very long ban ahead of him!!

 

Basically it looked like a bit of animosity had brewed between the two players earlier and they then got tangled in a tackle.. both got up and Brox player (6'3" and BIG!) grabs Hertford player (a slim 5'10?) by the shirt and then decides to push his fist into his face! Cue free for all by most of the players on the pitch. Broxbourne player gets red card.. slowly walks off the pitch while the whole way shouting how he was going to sort out the Hertford player after the game.

 

BUT.. he obviously changed his mind as just as the game is about to get back underway he ran back onto the pitch trying to get to the Hertford player originally involved. He only got as far as the Hertford centre half who just held him down until they got him back off the pitch!!

Glad you cleared that up, NF. Was that Jap Staam standing next to you?

 

When I got into the boardroom after the game, it was to a torrent of abuse from two of their people. They claimed that our player had trod on their player's crown jewels, and that it was all our fault!

(profuse apologies followed from more responsible home officials).

Was so funny, luckily Drapes was the first person he came across. Tried to push past him but just did an impression of bambi skating on ice and fell over!
