Strange isn't it...Jeff King gets involved and CCFC supporters get a cash cow and then we're all accused of being jealous. Jealous of what? A club that ships in a team with no foundation but a wallet? A bunch of supporters who, with a bat of an eye lid would slag of a team that they are not paying for?

Nah, give me the old fashioned way...build a successful team of youthful talent that the club can afford, 'cos, when the cash cow [****!!****] of to another club because he doesn't like a face or two, or a comment or three, or just can't stand the colour of the curtains (or he can't cut it in the Conference League...), it'll be back to Ryman One or bust...

I always think there's an element of risk in making big signings at this stage of the season. Faustina Asprilla anyone? If Chelmsford find that they have to change their style to accommodate him then the signing could backfire with the league so tight. For C*nv*y he always played better against us when he had a target man (lardbucket Gregory) alongside him - not sure that Ibe or Hallett fit that description.

Certainly NOT Gazza - if it helps us to get out of this league (whether this year, or sometime later), it's alright by me - for however long it lasts. Hopefully, by the time Mr King decides he wants a new hobby, CCFC will be self supporting, and will be able to survive without his input (err...aren't we supposed to be doing that NOW?)
