Well my experience of your gateman was excellent. I arrived for our game with you late and he had no change so accepted a fiver with the promise that I would bring the other £1 to him at halftime, which I did. Shame about the fecking result though!

I got to say that £6 to watch you lot is pretty good value...when all your neighbours charge at least £7. Probably one reason why you have some support and they dont. Reading these posts I have got a gut feeling that the guy is genuine...but I have been wrong before!!! See you soon.

no way he iss genuine,why would you let it go 3 times before suddenly deciding to go on an internet chat forum,surely if the guy was genuine he would of gone straight to a club official or back to the turnstile.If you wanted to have a dig at someone for whatever reason you would go to an internet chat forum and put it on there because more people would get to hear about it.

Royal mate, you say you think he is genuine then why has this only just hit the fan two thirds of the way through the season? His claims are preposterous and our poor gateman must be totally devestated at these allegations. To work as an unpaid volunteer and to be kicked in the teeth by an anonymous cretin in this way is scandlous.

We have 400 plus on average at each game and this "Joe" reckons lightning has struck him not once or twice - but THREE TIMES! Come on Royal, it just doesn't stack up.

it just doesn't make sense,if you are believed to be short changed in any shop,pub etc etc you go straight to that person and ask them to rectify the mistake,if they don't then you go to a higher authority,to use a forum is just a way of making a scene to as many people as possible and it actually shows that nothing has actually happened apart from someone stirring for whatever reason.

I would imagine that part of the above post probably breaches the Data Protection Act and it should really be Moderated appropriately.It would also be interesting how the person who may of breached the Data Protection Act actually obtained the IP address either on his own or with someone elses help ?

Sid...it just seemed a very long post to be a wind up..and like I said it was just a gut feeling.I will say though that I have done about 50 games this season with my daughter..who is a consession and have had the wrong change at probably 10 of these..half of these in my favour!! A lot of these are when there is a big scrum to get in.

I've always been charged correctly but rest assurred that if I'm charged £6 at the next game I will really kick up, demand to see the person in charge and insist on paying an additional £1. I still believe that if his person is genuine he will not post on here again on this subject and contact the club directly to resolve the issue.

Obviously you are talking about away games Royal as there is never s "scrum" to get in at Sudbury games - a scrum to get out maybe?

Moderators have rights to see whom and where, people are posting, on an open forum, I can see evey bodies IP and its not part of the data protection act you have come on a forum. And given your information to join that forum.

I agree with you wholely with regards to the role of the Moderator on open forums and I know that moderators are able to see ip addresses of people on the site, but I believe it does not give the right for someone to disclose personal data(Ip address seen by moderators) or the information contained in personal data that was given on joining this forum, without prior consent from the person involved and then to still keep it on the forum ! Good way to discuss things
