Gavin - That's a bit of a let down, I was hoping for a report and more importantly how the hallowed turf is looking as I'm still hoping to salvage the groundshare agreement before the end of the season and smooth over the damage that was done when we played Cockfosters on that infamous afternoon at the end of December.

It doesn't exist, clip Rods. At least, there has been no proof to date that there ever was one.

What groundshare agreement? There isn't one and never has been. As has been stated elsewhere, and has been accepted by all except you is that there was an agreement that we'd allow you use of Claremont Road as and when we could.

As for Kentish Town playing there again in the near future, if this wet weather carries on, I wouldn't plan on it. We were touch and go today - one more downpour would have seen the game called off.

Anyway Rhodes, why didn't you venture over to Claremont Road, pay your £8.00 and check out the "hallowed" turf yourself?

based on previous comments that rhodes has made on this board he expects a complimentary ticket to be made available for himself on the gate of any ground he decides to grace with his presence.

SteveR - It's strange that you come out of the woodwork as soon as the word 'Hendon' is mentioned, what happened to the proud boast of never having a game called off in five years until that Slough Town farce before Christmas, ever since then every game has been 'touch and go'. I couldn't make it this afternoon I'm afraid as I was washing my hair but Rak normally keeps me posted on the state of the hallowed turf, I'm hoping we might play our final two home games of the season at Claremont Road in April against Ampthill Town and Stony 'and I will walk 10,000 miles' Stratford.

Rhodes - you are so offensive! And lots of clubs who haven't had games postponed for seasons have been caught out this winter. But you only focus on your special targets, don't you?

Hmmmm - I wonder! Given that you keep spouting lies about groundshare agreements that have never existed, I feel that someone ought to post the truth.

Rhodes, please answer this. How could we enter a groundshare agreement with you when back in the summer there were no guarantees that we were going to be at Claremont Road for the whole of this season?

Horace - Not at all, is it my fault that some people don't like the truth when confronted face to face with it. I wasn't criticising Hendon, admitedly I rib Haringey about the hallowed Coles Park turf however it's about time they dug it up lock stock and barrel and spent a good 25-30k on the problem rather than pointless dribs and drabs come May year in year out.

SteveR, you'll find that he ignores questions that:
a) he doesn't like
B) doesn't know the answer to
c) show him up as self-contradictory, hypocritical, bigoted, a liar or just plain ignorant/stupid.

3praise - You miss the point, I'm just a working class guy so why should I have a spare 25-30k. Football Club Chairmen however are expected to dip their hands into their pockets when the going gets tough otherwise they shouldn't accept the job in the first place when voted in or whatever the case may be. The consortium I had waiting in the wings would have addressed the pitch issue overnight as they had £2 million burning a hole in their pocket, furthermore why were all the innovative Community partnerships and links with the Council and Spurs pooh poohed when they were itching to work hand in hand with the Club, ask yourself that.

I've had emails from those people in West Africa too! "Help us launder £20m and we'll cut you in!"

Horace - If I told you who the consortium were, which I don't intend to by the way, I think you will raise your eyebrows Mr Spock style.

I speak a little rhodesian now Horace and this translates as 'please try and guess who it is so I can look big in your eyes when I finally tell you because that is so important to me"

Lato - What on earth are you on about, it is not a case of looking big at all and I don't intend to divulge 'Royal Secret' information to Horace. Lets just say the individual who heads up the consortium is very high profile and would have probably succeeded in getting Haringey to the Conference by the 2012-2013 season.

Given your track record for classifying people as "high profile", I think we can safely assume this is probably a nobody most of us have never heard of.
