DUNE BUGGY RACING - Margate Seafront Closed

Don't forget there is Dune Buggy Racing on Margate Main Sands this weekend! The seafront is closed from the Clocktower to the Harbour. Amusements and Continental Market in operation there.

Why not look in at it before going to the game (if there is a game today).

'A very nice stretch of sand there' - Did you not know that Thanet has 9 miles of Golden Sands? All kinds of activity goes on amidst out numerous beaches!

And Tony Margate Main Sands is cleaned on a regular basis (daily in the summer). Same can't be said for all the others, especially when the seaweed it washed up!

Ewww yeh - I remember those days! What a stink! Is it cleaned during the winter too? I know it used to be cleaned very early in the morning during the summer

Went today it was very good. These things can only be good for the area. And the last race finished at 1.30 so still could of made the footy (if it was on) !!!!!!!!

I have had to relocate the camels temporarily from off the beach. The only comparable sandy area to rehouse them, guaranteed to be uninhabited on a Saturday, was the pitch at HDP!
