Dave, yes I would agree, and have always told Ian he does a great job, but to put it on every section is going over the top. in answer to your second question, if I didnt have this forum, I wouldnt get to know other fans, what I find funny is when I offer a hello to an Urchin and he turns his nose up and shows no interest and then I can speak to Kel and have a great chat about similar interests in non league football, I quite often have good conversations with some Urchins who might not always agree on things but see the whole picture and are like minded, you included

We all come on here because we enjoy our football, but Ian also has to make a living from it so if he can get some publicity from it then he should.

I am sorry you do not approve Zody how I run this site - please bear in mind that it personally costs me $500 - $1,000 per month - and despite numerous appeals I get very little help (the other two admins lead busy lives as well)

 

We have linked up with the Essex FA in what is their first sponsorship deal in 123 years - as a member of a club in Essex I am staggered that you are not as keen in promoting grassroots football in Essex as I am. That was the whole aim around this site when I started it 6 years ago. This will give added promotion on the radio and in newspapers to both this site and those teams who have forums here (including yours!)

 

Now if you would like to assist this site then please feel free - you can contribute financially via the button on the left that says 'Donate' (just like the 3 other people have, to whom I am very grateful) - or you can volunteer to do something constructive to assist around here (feel free to PM with an ideas)

 

If you choose not to do either of the above, then that is your choice - I will continue to welcome you onto the forums like anyone else free of charge (as long as you do not break any of the rules too often)

 

Until then, I will promote the site and the FansFocus.Com Senior Cup Final in anyway that I choose! And if you would like to win a ticket to see AFC Hornchurch play Great Wakering Rovers then feel free - it will be open to all. (details will be announced shortly). If you are really keen you can present the trophy to the winning side.

Ian, if an outsider not connected to AFC Hornchurch promoted the site like it came across, certain people would say that individial was blowing their own trumpet, having experience these comments you can only agree, this does happen. As for the rules of the site, friends of mine at Romford and other clubs have been subject to' bullying ' and threats so please you know this happens and shouldnt, so please one rule for one must apply to everyone, including AFC Hornchurch regardless of status.

 

I have no wish to help out as my time is better served elsewhere

 

Keep up the good work, we have exchanged private messages and have always got on with things and not let this forum be a judge of each others true personalities.

 

Finally I wish some of the history some people have on here was put to bed and people accepted each other not a war of the grey box, as it normally is forgotten when we come faced to face, certain people however need to grow up.

How can you knock Ian? Fans Focus is a good Forum and provides an easy message board system for lots of clubs.

 

the 1000$ is a bit steep but i wont disagree if that is what Ian says it costs him every month after any affiliates or advertising.

 

At the end of the day they have sponsored a cup final so should be congratulated.
