relegation to the esl

lesbos

They have all been in the ESL before, with Tilbury gaining promotion on the last day of last season, thanks to a 3-1 win at Romford, denying Burnham/Barkingside promotion (cannot remember which one).

As for preference, Tilbury makes the Sao Paulo suburbs look high class and Ilford..well Ilford's Ilford.

As for Witham and Wakering, both are nice places to visit, with good social facilities and bars to match. (Despite Wakering closing theirs during evening matches...how???).

Would prefer somebody new, but anyone rather than the first two, from a personal view point...

i started going to non league games in 2000 and ive probably visited 50/60 grounds in that time, the only ground where ive ever heard overt racist abuse was at tilbury,it was as if they were in some kind of timewarp peppering the air with the n word,i remember when i first got into non league romford were on a free fall through the ryman divisions, you remember mervin abrahams?, i thought he was quality at grays.

Only two teams will get relegated from Ryman Div 1 North. Looks like Flackewell Heath and A N Other, but it won't be Tilbury.

Ilford's clubhouse is fine, I was there in November. If I had to pick a team to come down with FH it would probably be Ilford.

Flackwell are unlikely to land in the ESL - more likely the Spartan given their location.

Of the other teams, Ilford look the most likely candidates. Hope it's not Great Wakering, as they are one of the friendliest clubs in the Ryman, and they are currently playing some very entertaining football. They gave Enfield Town an almighty fright when we went there last month, and got a deserved 3-3 draw.
