Mark Green released by Tonbridge

(as has been Ryan Maxwell but less said re:Maxwell the better).

Is it simply with Mark Green that since his broken leg, he never recovered his form.

I well remember 3 seasons ago us all raving about how he was the best and fastest left back seen in a 'Gate shirt and he was the next Ashley Cole.

Seems to be on a real decline which is a real shame if it was the injury that started it.

If he has got something left, and still some pace, maybe RT should give him a contract until season end-extra pace in defence and i think he played a few games at centre half aswell

Greeny was a cracking attacking full back before that awful injury back in the conf south, but he was never quite the same afterwards he didnt seem to get forward as much and seem a to fade out of games.

I think confidence may of had alot to do with it and lets be honest playing in that awful margate team at the begining of last season couldnt of helped any bodys confidence so i dont blame him completely for wanting out.

As it turned out if he would have stayed he may of had a future with the Gate maybe Trott & Flanagan could of helped him but tbh i could never have seen him starting before a fit Skins.
